We took a little family outing to the sno cone stand after dinner tonight. Since it has been just unbearably hot around here (Wednesday we tied the all time record high of 110, today when I was on my way home it was 108, at 8 pm tonight it was still 100, and our high tomorrow is 105...ughh!!), it was the perfect thing to do this evening! Sara Kate loves when we share a sno cone. In fact, she has tried many flavors this summer and has shared with me, her daddy, and her Gran! I don't think she really has a favorite flavor...just as long as she gets some she's happy! Tonight we had strawberry-watermelon. Yum!

We have a new 'duck!' It may be hard to tell from this picture, but it's actually a really plush Big Bird and my mom found it and sent it to her. It came today and she has carried it around from the time we got finished eating dinner until it was time for bath. And guess what? This one is washable!! :-) Thank you, Gran!!
