Sara Kate, you are 1 month old today! What are you up to these days?
(I don't know what's up with this expression...she was making the weirdest faces during this entire 'photo shoot.')- Who do you look like, mommy or daddy? We can't really tell yet, but we know you have your daddy's thumbs and your mommy's gimpy pinky toes!
- You are still in newborn clothes and newborn diapers, although we think the newborn diapers are getting a little snug.
- You are eating about every 3 hours. Even our night time routine has you up every 3-4 hours. Mommy would love to stretch this out a little more! :-)
- You seem to have discovered your tongue lately. Seems like in every picture I take lately you have your tongue sticking out!
- Your head control is getting pretty good. We do tummy time and you hold your head up for a bit before you get tired. You also like to be held to where you can look over my shoulder and your head control is great then!
- I think you learned how to blow bubbles the other day. Along with the bubbles, you are drooling a bit.
- You still hate being naked!! During bath time you are pretty content, until I take you out of the tub then you scream until you have clothes on again!!
- This week we introduced a bottle to you! Daddy has been giving you your dinner in a bottle and you're taking it really well! Your grandma Greer even gave you a couple of bottles today and you did great!
- Your eyes look bluer and bluer every day, and we think they are beautiful!
- You are starting to smile and grin! This morning your grandma Greer was holding you and talking to you and you were just a grinning at her. So sweet! Unfortunately, I have yet to capture these smiles on camera!
- We love you more and more every day and are so thankful you are in our lives!
